Gas Locker Kit
The locker is sturdy, but the door is not airtight as received. The locking mechanism on the locker that I got does not pull the door solidly against the rubber seal. I plan to adjust the mechanism or similar to achieve a better seal.
The size is good and the regulator is fixed nicely in place.
Jacksons were good to deal with and offered me a refund, but I think the product is better than alternatives that I've seen, and worth trying to adjust. -
Good complete kit but requires adjusting.
This is a good complete kit needed to meet the standards. It does however require some adjusting as it is fitted.
The door was definitely not gas tight so the latches need adjusting/bending to ensure a gas tight seal.
The regulator does not align with the hole in box, but the bolts were long enough to allow a packing piece to be used to lower the regulator slightly.
Since you have to drill the box for the vent anyway it would actually be better if the hole had not been drilled. For some installations it would be better to have the hole on the rear of the box. You can then have the gas at the rear of the vehicle easily accessed when the rear door or tailgate is open and you are stood on the ground.
