The VuDome is operated by a radio frequency remote, and can be operated from inside the caravan or motorhome.

Fitted manual satellite systems, are installed through the roof of your caravan or motorhome, and have a handle that is turned a certain number of times, dependant on your location, to achieve the correct elevation to a given satellite.
