Victron Energy Blue Power Galvanic Isolator VDI-16 A

Overview

Consisting of two separate diodes which connect together in an anti-parallel connection the Galvanic Isolator allows a current in two different directions without breaking a threshold voltage.

By installing the Galvanic Isolator directly behind your boats 230v connection you will be ensuring that forward voltage from the isloator is higher than any potential difference between metals. This means that any conduction will not be allowed due to the voltage and any electrolytic current is prevented.
