Great little hatch easy to fit.
As usual great service from Jackson’s -
Second time lucky
This is the second one. First one was bought a few months back and couldn't get it to seal. Assuming a cracked vent so bought a new one.
Used the sealant recommended in the booklet (sikalastomer 710) and all seems good.
Installed in a Merc Sprinter so has ribs. Made a wooden frame to cover the ribs.
Roof > sealant > frame > sealant > vent.
First time, fingers crossed.
Wiring for the fan is a bit fiddly and you need two people really. Easier to plug in from above, but need someone to hold the bottom of the vent in the van
5 stars given as assuming my error trying to use soft seals first install to overcome the ribs. -
Great product, good price, delivered quick.
Yeah, happy with it. Does what it says, easy to install.
Used mastic tape (bacause I had ribs), then 512 sealant. Stuck good and proper.
Would recommend.
