The Dometic RGE2100 Caravan Fridge can be easily switched to LP gas mode when an electric power supply isn’t available, ensuring that all the contents of your fridge remain continually cool and fresh. Thanks to its tough construction, including a cabinet door built from galvanised steel and fully insulated walls, the Dometic RGE2100 delivers an outstanding cooling performance and unfaltering endurance.

Enhanced for complete convenience

Suitable for permanent installation in your caravan or motorhome, the Dometic RGE2100 Free Standing Gas Fridge features a removable freezer compartment and partitioned storage for fruit and vegetables. Also included are coated adjustable shelves, a reversible door hinge and the added benefit of a control panel featuring a protection cover for the electric and gas thermostat.

A 2-way absorption refrigerator for 230 volts and LPG gas

With a gross capacity of 96 litres, including 9 litres for the freezer, the Dometic RGE2100 works silently on electric and near-silent on gas for unobtrusive operations and can be run on mains or gas, with piezo ignition for gas operation featuring a flame safety valve.

Points of note:

• Dometic RGE fridges run silent on electric. When running on gas the noise of the burner/gas pressure is near-silent however fluctuates based on demand to ensure maximum efficiency and performance.
• The RGE series of gas fridges do not have a flue
• The room must have a cubic capacity of at least 20m³, and be well ventilated with an opening window near by.
• The RGE fridge has to be mounted free-standing, meaning a minimum space to surrounding walls or furniture of 50mm (no built in)
• The RGE fridge must not be exposed to heat radiation (e.g. oven, radiator)
• The cooling unit on the backside (covered) has to be well ventilated continuously. Do not cover the cooling unit (e.g. towels, curtains).
• RGE’s should be connected by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
• When the fridge is first connected there maybe a strong smell. This is the burning off of paint at the back of the cooling system. This can smell like a strong pungent chemical smell. After a day or two there may be a slight smell which should not bother you.
• Fridge will take 2 – 4 hours after connecting to start to get cold (depending on ambient temperature).
• Comes with right hand hinge as standard
