Great product
After much deliberation we took the plunge to by the Maxxair Deluxe.
We should have replaced our pop up skylight years ago with one of these, so far absolutely great at keeping the motorhome cool and expelling the smells whilst cooking.
Relatively easy to fit, with the hardest bit removing the old skylight . The instructions could have done with being a bit bigger for us older people to read.
The instructions aren’t very clear about how to connect to the power source and doesn’t mention that you should fit an inline fuse (I always fit one) for a bit of added protection.
Overall a great unit and wouldn’t hesitate recommending this product.
We also purchased the blind at the same time which too is a worthwhile purchase -
Fantastic product for all weathers
Just returned from 10 days in Wales after fitting this. Very, very pleased with it. Being Wales we had all extremes of weather and the Maxfann was excellent with it all. On hot days it keeps the van cool, on rainy days it ventilated the van and completely banished condensation. In addition I can now fry bacon in the van with no residual smells! Very easy to fit (I was replacing a standard 400mm rooflight) and appears to be good quality.

Wish I had found this years ago
A very well made product that works like a charm. The fit to the old vent was perfect and installation simple. Accessing a 12v supply in the roof space was 'interesting' but eventually achieved - more initial planning may have helped.
Only minor concern is that when fitted and with the vent open, there are just four, accessible, screws holding the unit in place. If left open when the van is unoccupied it would be fairly easy to undo the four screws, lift the unit out and have access to the interior of the van.
Noise levels at low speeds are perfectly acceptable and could be left running overnight. High fan speeds are noisy.
Great product, recommended. -
A Breath of Fresh Air
I first saw this fan on a Murvi and thought it looked good, i especially liked the remote control handset. Having purchased and fitted one I am absolutely delighted with it. I did consider fitting 2 so that i could have an intake and extract air but it works well with the Heki 2 i bought at the same time. an absolute doddle to fit.
