Split along mould line when tightened (overtightened by hand ?I have skinny wrists!).As the request was to fit a flexible hose for the vibration from the pump ,I then got one with a barbed end (photo top right) and fitted a couple of hose clips over the hose instead. Result needed as the pump was not turning off ,dragging in air so 5 stars on the new one (same shurflo again).
This was a replacement for the unknowingly frost damaged item on our motorhome. Jacksons staff were so very helpful who made in a pleasure to deal with the company. The reason that the last star was not awarded is because it was not possible fit the

I bought this to replace my old round one. Unfortunately I could not get the filter properly tight with the bowl at the bottom. They said not to use plumbing tape. Cleaned and reused the old round filter so that the pump could mount flush with the bulkhead.

I haven’t fitted this item just yet so can’t review it for now, however these guys provided a great efficient service and communications at what is a very busy time for online retailers. I would definitely use them again
