Product OK and have tested in all three power modes and works well, only thing which would be a good idea, would be a power indicator light when on 240v or 12v, also gas pilot light difficult to see very low down on the fridge cabinet and gas canister not that easy to remove, plus instruction talk about a lever to hold in place?

  • ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC

HAD MINE 2 YEARS NOW FROM JACKSONS.
    NEVER LET ME DOWN.
HAVE USED ON ALL THREE FUEL TYPES.
WHILE CAMPING I USE GAS CARTRIDGES,I GET 16 HOURS ON FULL GAS FROM ONE CARTRIDGE AND IT GET FREEZING COLD SO MUCH THAT SOMETIMES IT NEEDS TURNING DOWN AS IT FREEZES CANS.
GETS VERY COLD ON ALL THREE.
MY BEST PIECE OF CAMPING EQUIPMENT BY FAR AND WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

  • Great on electric, passable on gas.

On 240V, this will genuinely create ice (albeit probably only on the tiny little heat-exchanger "shelf"... you won't be able to make or keep ice when driving and the ice will have melted within a few hours on gas.
The gas was definitely a little disappointing - even on the max setting the ice was melting fast, but it is better than any refrigerated camping coolbox - I'll confirm in a few weeks how long the milk lasts in there, but you're definitely not going to keep any meat frozen for more than the drive to the campsite... and even then, it's a steady defrost.
The 12V remains untested, but I'm hoping that it will be as good as the electric, so I can get the temperature down with a little bump from a portable battery pack!
Before anybody asks - the gas+electric tests were conducted on the same spirit-levelled table in our kitchen (with the doors open when on gas and with the gas disconnected entirely when on electric).
