Smev 9222 (now the Dometic HSG 2370) left or right hand hob and sink

Manufactured to the highest standards and designed with high grade materials for an expert finish, the Dometic HSG 2370 formerly the Smev 9222 Caravan and Motor Home hob and sink combination is available with the option of having the sink on either the right or the left, and is ideal for making the most out of minimal space! The Dometic HSG 2370 features twin glass lids, detachable pan supports.

Piezo Ignition

The pre-fitted convenient piezo ignition system means you can light the ring without the need for a 12 volt supply.

Safety Ignition System

A flame failure device is included for peace of mind that the gas will shut off if the flame is extinguished unexpectedly.

Left or right?

Simple, if the sink is on the right as you look at it, it's a right hand.

Dometic HSG 2370, it's still the Smev 9222 with the same features:

    The Smev 9222 hob & sink combo seems well made & good value for money. Just used it on our first trip away & definately not disappointed. Only thing that would make life much easier (& has been stated by other reviewers) is that a template really should be supplied as the shape to cut out is quite complicated. We got a template from another supplier. Service & delivery from Jackson's for the unit itself was top notch.

    That's the only real gripe so far, good bit of kit sent out fast by Jacksons. It would have cost SMEV nothing to include a template printed on the box rather than give you a load of dimensions to draw your own, Grrrrr.

    BUT I agree with most of the other reveiws - a template would make fitting the item much easier. My hubby is a joiner and a kitchen fitter and even he found it a pain !!!

    cannot fault the sink, except..... For the price it really should have a full sized template supplied. I had to order one from another company to correctly fit the smev. It is far to complicated a shape to cut out without one, very disappointed with that lack of thought. The one I bought was just a cardboard shape. About 3pence to supply for smev.
