The Optimal is an excellent crossover kayak, providing speed on the flat and agility in white water conditions. Sandbanks have equipped this kayak with a V-shaped hull, giving it superior stability and a hydrodynamic profile which excels against typical inflatable kayaks. What's more, a rounded profile along the stern is designed to shed water easily, making the kayak more forgiving in rough waters.

The Optimal features luggage straps at both the front and rear, enabling you to stow away all the gear you need for your next adventure. The kayak comes as a kit, including carry bag, Bravo two-stage pump, lightweight aluminium paddle, and a 3 year warranty.

Fully configurable

The Optimal is designed to feel like a rigid kayak, and includes features often omitted even on these. It includes a removeable seat, 4-piece paddle, lower leg support, a wheeled carry bag as well as a removeable skeg, which grants extra speed and stability at sea.
