I bought this for my boat in a marina with no pump out, and have used this for a week now. Price and delivery from Jacksons was excellent.

Three other boats on my pontoon use Thetford toilets, two with cassettes and one with a Porta Potty. One of those with a cassette also recommended Jacksons.

The toilet work well, is easy to fill and clean, and has no smells. It does have a smaller seat than a conventional toilet. You have to buy what will fit in your space.

I purchased the smaller cassette 345 rather than the 365 because of the weight lugging it to the Elsan point. One litre of water weighs one kilogram, the 365 would weigh 21 kilograms when full.

The downside I discovered is a tendency to form a pile up in the shallow tank, and catch paper in the slide. You can shake the toilet to clear it or play poo sticks, but the solution is to separate the top as if empting the tank and up end it. This clears it completely.

The narrow boat on the pontoon with a Porta Potty has the 365 with the larger tank and doesn't have this problem.

I would recommend both the Thetford Porta Potty and Jacksons to any one considering buying one.
