Victron Energy 12v AGM Deep Cycle Batteries

Overview

AGM deep cycle technology batteries from Victron Energy have excellent high current performance and feature VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) meaning that the batteries are sealed for safety. The battery valves will only allow gas to escape in the event of overcharging or cell failure for added peace of mind and security when using an AGM battery. The additional benefit of batteries with VRLA technology is that they are maintenance free throughout the life of the battery.

High performing Victron AGM batteries

With AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries, the electrolyte power is absorbed into a glass-fibre mat in a closer proximity to the active material of the battery, this allows movement of electrical charge more rapidly. This makes AGM batteries more suitable for delivering high current power over a shorter period of time compared to Gel batteries.

Deep Discharge Recovery

These Victron batteries with VRLA, have the ability to re-gain charge, even from a deep or prolonged discharged state. However, repeated and prolonged deep discharging will have a negative effect on the service life of all lead acid batteries including Victron.
