Eberspacher D2L Airtronic external diesel space air heater for VW T5 T6 Volkswagen campervan with EasyStart Pro
Complete with an external mounting plate for a Volkswagen T5 or T6 campervan, the Eberspacher Airtronic D2L diesel air space heater is a great way to heat your VW. The Airtronic D2L uses diesel fuel which means it is great for using off-grid and can use your diesel fuel tank for its supply. Because the Airtronic D2L feeds direct from your vehicle fuel tank, it means you don't have to run the engine for the heater to work.

Being both compact and incredibly efficient in use with rapid heat-up times, the Airtronic D2L diesel air space heater is perfectly suited for use in a Volkswagen T5 or T6 campervan . The Airtronic D2L also comes complete with the new Eberspacher EasyStart Pro control panel which allows easy management of the heater functions. The EasyStart Pro control panel is also compatible with the Eberspacher EasyStart Web system which allows heater control via internet devices as well phone and tablet apps, and even via some smartwatches!

Eberspacher d2l VW external kit with easystart pro
Fitted the kit last week and used it over the last couple of nights. Fitting wise it was quite straight forward. Started with the tank and metering pump, then heater and finally the vents and wiring. Took my time with it and all went in nicely with no stresses. Hardest bit was working out the routing of the exhaust to make it look nice. Took about 9 hours from opening the garage door to having it running. Operation wise, dead easy to use. Bit noisy on start up from the vents as the heater gets up to temp (approx 5-10mins), but then pretty quiet once running. Outside the van you can hear it running from the exhaust but no way loud or offensive. Over all a really good bit of kit and pleased with it. Makes the camper useable year round. 100% recommended.
